PRESERVING NATIVE CULTURE THROUGH MULTIMEDIA AND TELEVISION

Welcome to the NATV (Native American Television) website!

OUR WEBSITE IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION! WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY BROKEN LINKS OR MESSY APPEARANCE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING WHILE WE ARE REBUILDING!

NATV was founded by the late Chuck Kaster to train Native students in front of and behind cameras while establishing the first Native television in the United States. Today, NATV is continuing Chuck's dream by using multimedia technology to provide content to inform, educate, entertain and inspire the audience and community members - while offering training for our people in television production, technology, the environment and many other important areas.

Our technology training program will provide an unprecedented opportunity for Native Americans to develop professional job skills and certification in Studio and Field production; Filming and Editing; News Reporting and Broadcasting - all solid tools which will prove invaluable to students in a competitive, global environment.

Contributing to NATV is an investment in the youth of Native America, so please show your support by hiring NATV's crew to cover your Washington conference, news event, or to train your young people to learn to videotape tribal elders or help preserve tribal language, heritage, and culture.
